The Front of House (FOH) Manager role at Momofuku plays a vital part in maintaining the high standards of service and operational efficiency that define the brand. This position is focused on working closely with the General Manager and the broader management team to ensure seamless restaurant operations that align with the protocols set by the executive management and corporate office. The FOH Manager is an active, hands-on leader involved throughout the guest journey—from greeting and engaging with customers to overseeing the collaboration between the service staff and Back of House team. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage both people and processes effectively, ensuring the flow of service is smooth, standards are upheld, and guest satisfaction is maximized.
The responsibilities include overseeing training programs for FOH team members, maintaining rigorous safety and sanitation protocols in compliance with Department of Health standards, and handling administrative duties such as financial reporting, scheduling, and maintaining facilities. The FOH Manager ensures all printed and digital menus are updated based on product availability and assists with implementing new restaurant initiatives and service protocols through staff education. Interaction with guests is a core function, providing support in resolving service issues and creating an environment that encourages repeat business. The FOH Manager is expected to lead by example, setting performance expectations, delivering regular feedback, and contributing to performance reviews. Stability in handling customer service inquiries, managing reservation systems, and supporting private events also fall within the scope of this role.
