The role of Restaurant Manager at Del Taco is pivotal in driving the brand's success at a local level by overseeing daily restaurant operations and leading a team to achieve sales and profitability goals. Reporting directly to the District Manager, the Restaurant Manager is tasked with protecting and delivering the Del Taco brand experience by strictly adhering to brand standards and operational processes. Staffing and team management are core aspects of this job, involving recruiting, hiring, training, and retaining quality employees who are certified according to current training programs. The manager plays a strategic role in building a service-oriented culture that prioritizes enjoyable customer experiences and teamwork. Operational responsibilities include maintaining the facility and customer areas, ensuring all equipment meets safety and operational standards, and enforcing cleaning schedules and uniform guidelines. Managers oversee product quality to meet Del Taco standards consistently and ensure marketing materials and signage are properly displayed.
