The Restaurant Manager position at BJ's Restaurants is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations across opening, mid-day, or closing shifts. This position is salaried with a competitive annual pay range of $72,000 to $78,000, commensurate with experience, and offers the potential for quarterly bonuses based on performance. As an exempt management role, the Restaurant Manager is expected to devote more than 50 percent of their time to managerial duties, exercising independent judgment and discretion in decisions critical to restaurant success and guest satisfaction. The manager plays a leadership role in hiring, supervising, training, and mentoring team members to ensure that they embody the company’s Gold Standard for guest service. Operational responsibilities include managing daily restaurant functions, handling maintenance and repair issues, overseeing risk review audits, and driving local sales and marketing efforts. The manager also ensures compliance with all company policies and legal requirements, fosters a culture of continuous improvement through education programs, and collaborates with team member relations to address workforce concerns.
