Kansas City, KS, USA, KS Full-Time $20 - $25
Diversified Restaurant Group (DRG) is a dynamic and rapidly growing multi-brand restaurant operator with a strong presence in several states, including California, Kansas, Missouri, Nevada, and Alaska. Founded in 2012 with just 30 Taco Bell units, DRG has expanded impressively to operate over 240 restaurant units comprising Taco Bell and Arby's brands. The company prides itself on maintaining a 'people first' philosophy and fostering a small company feel, even amidst its significant size. With a family-oriented approach, DRG values every single team member as an integral part of its success story. Presently, the organization employs more than 6,000 team members and continues its upward trajectory by offering ample opportunities for career advancement and professional development. The role of a General Manager at DRG is tailored for a dynamic and experienced leader who thrives in a fast-growth environment. This full-time position offers a competitive starting pay ranging from $19.50 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience and availability, along with a comprehensive benefits package that supports employees personally and professionally. As a General Manager, you will be at the forefront of restaurant operations, supervising all facets including recruiting, training, management, profit and loss oversight, and ensuring superior customer service. Leadership is central to this role – you will build, develop, and empower a team of top performers by consistently providing clear, actionable direction and recognizing achievements both individually and collectively. Your responsibilities will also encompass upholding the highest standards in food quality, food safety, store cleanliness, and operational excellence, contributing directly to the profitability and reputation of the restaurant. In addition to managing day-to-day operations, the General Manager acts as the essential communication bridge between field leadership and restaurant staff, maintaining open and transparent communication channels. The role demands someone who holds a deep respect for company values—Respect, Integrity, Passion, Accountability, Commitment, and Teamwork—and who can embed these principles into every aspect of the restaurant’s culture. If you are inspired to lead teams focused on operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and continuous development, DRG offers an excelling platform with meaningful benefits. Employees can access financial assistance through the DRG Cares Grant Program, enjoy exclusive discounts in the DRG Savings Marketplace, and benefit from educational programs like GED reimbursement and language courses. DailyPay gives employees access to their paychecks on a daily basis, supporting financial flexibility. Other perks include scholarship opportunities and an employee referral program, confirming that DRG supports the whole person, not just the employee. This role requires a committed, hands-on leader capable of working a 50-hour workweek and whose availability aligns with the operational needs of the business, including nights, weekends, and holidays. If you are someone with a passion for the restaurant industry, a flair for leadership, and a commitment to excellence, you will find an enriching and rewarding career opportunity at DRG.
