St. Louis, MO, USA, MO Internship $25 - $25
Anheuser-Busch is a renowned American brewing company with a legacy spanning more than 165 years. It is recognized as the nation's top brewer, known for producing a vast portfolio of beloved brands including Michelob ULTRA, Cutwater Spirits, Budweiser, Kona Brewing Co, Stella Artois, and Bud Light, among others. The company prides itself on its commitment to quality, sustainability, and innovation, majorly sourcing its ingredients domestically from American farmers, and investing heavily in its facilities and workforce across the United States. With nearly 19,000 employees, Anheuser-Busch fosters a culture that encourages dreaming big, continuous learning, and teamwork. The company continually looks forward to creating a future filled with more cheers and opportunities, making it a dynamic place to grow professionally and personally. It is deeply invested in economic prosperity and community development, attributing to its massive scale of production and engagement nationwide. This Co-Op position is part of Anheuser-Busch's Innovations group, hosted at the Research Pilot Brewery, offering a unique hands-on experience to university students or recent graduates. The role is designed for those eager to engage directly with the brewing process in an environment described as a highly efficient microbrewery within the largest brewery in the country. The candidate will be actively involved in manual and technical operations including moving beer, grinding malt, cleaning tanks, and transferring products, with direct exposure to advanced brewing equipment such as flow meters, plate and frame coolers, glycol jacketed tanks, yeast separators, and steam heaters. This role is not your typical engineering internship; it demands physical activity and offers rich learning opportunities tied directly to academic knowledge. Throughout the Co-Op period (January-June 2026 or June-December 2026), the individual will also contribute to improvement projects, present 'Beer Science' topics to peers, manage brewery areas, and provide critical data insights to management. The Co-Op includes shift work that rotates, including nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the 24/7 operation schedule of the brewery. Candidates will have the opportunity to present their project outcomes to senior leadership, enhancing their professional portfolio. This role provides a robust platform for those interested in brewing science, engineering, or operations management to gain real-world industry experience, develop leadership skills, and be part of a team dedicated to innovation and quality production.
  • Bachelor's degree or current university student
  • GPA of 2.8 or higher
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends
  • Physical capability to perform manual labor relevant to brewing operations
