This role is essential in covering shifts due to leaves of absence, last-minute call outs, or emergency cleaning requests from clients. The position involves performing a wide range of janitorial duties ensuring that both interior and, where requested, exterior spaces are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and safety. As a floater, you will be expected to adapt quickly to varying work environments and client specifications, demonstrating proficiency and reliability in all assigned tasks. Key responsibilities include floor care such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming, as well as cleaning and sanitizing office spaces, exam rooms, restrooms, and common areas. Additional duties include dusting, glass cleaning, emptying trash receptacles, and restocking necessary paper products. Adherence to safety procedures when using cleaning chemicals and operating machinery is vital to maintaining a safe workplace. This position demands physical stamina as lifting, bending, stretching, and standing for long periods will be frequent. The hourly compensation for this role is $22.00, reflecting the value we place on flexibility, reliability, and skill. Ideal candidates for this position will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, be authorized to work in the United States, and have reliable personal transportation as travel to various job sites is essential. While previous janitorial experience is preferred, it is not mandatory, as we provide training to develop the necessary skills.
