The role of the Business Travel Sales Manager at Claremont Resort & Club is a pivotal position designed to drive growth in the transient business travel segment. This role requires a motivated and skilled sales professional to proactively solicit new business and manage existing accounts to maximize revenue. The role involves engaging in telephone prospecting, outside sales calls, site inspections, and written communications to cultivate and expand the hotel's client base. The Business Travel Sales Manager must demonstrate an advanced capability to produce business transient revenue by aggressively prospecting, making persuasive presentations, developing and negotiating contracts, and successfully closing sales. This includes promoting all aspects of the hotel’s offerings to previous, current, and potential clients. The position demands a collaborative approach, coordinating with various departments to ensure excellent service delivery to clients. As a senior member of the sales team, the Business Travel Sales Manager will prepare for and attend client meetings, entertain clients when appropriate, and communicate effectively with all relevant hotel departments to provide clear direction and maintain service quality. Participation in daily business review meetings, pre-convention meetings, training sessions, trade shows, and industry events is an integral part of the role, reflecting the dynamic and engaging nature of the position. Compensation for this full-time position ranges from $72,602 to $87,500 annually.
