We are currently seeking a dedicated Recreation Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Hotel del Coronado. This full-time position offers a competitive pay rate of $30.00 per hour, dependent on applicable and specialized experience. The Recreation Supervisor will play a pivotal role in supporting the Director of Recreation and Recreation Manager in the overall management of all pool and recreation operations. These operations encompass organizing activities, ensuring excellent service quality, managing food and beverage delivery related to recreation areas, and maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of all recreation facilities. This leadership role requires the ability to perform hands-on duties alongside the team during high business volumes to ensure a seamless guest experience. The Recreation Supervisor will also assist in financial oversight by monitoring revenue, controlling costs, and analyzing performance metrics to support profitability. Comprehensive leadership responsibilities include training new and existing team members, supervising daily work schedules, and assisting in performance evaluations to promote continuous improvement. The incumbent will coordinate daily tasks in various outlets to ensure operational efficiency, execute special projects aligned with long-term strategic objectives, and manage inventory procurement by liaising with the purchasing department and external vendors. Effective communication is key, as this role involves working directly with clients and guests to manage group reservations and facilitating daily team meetings to keep all members informed and motivated.
