This role is ideal for individuals who are friendly, organized, and motivated to contribute positively to the senior living experience. The position is part-time, requiring availability for 1 or 2 weeknights from 4 PM to 8 PM and one weekend day shift that can be 8 AM to 2 PM or 2 PM to 8 PM. The wage ranges from $16.50 to $20.00 per hour, depending on years of experience. As a Receptionist, you will be the welcoming face of the community, responsible for providing excellent customer service to residents, visitors, and professionals while maintaining the front desk operations. Your friendly demeanor and professional attitude will help set a positive first impression. This role involves managing telephone communication, greeting and directing guests, sorting mail, handling correspondence, and supporting various administrative tasks. • High school diploma or GED preferred
• Six months to one year prior reception experience in an office environment
• Must have knowledge of basic telephone reception systems and techniques
• Ability to handle all incoming telephone calls and visitors in a pleasant and courteous manner
• Ability to respond calmly to emergency situations
• Ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 15 lbs and carry objects
• Must be able to push and pull carts and continuously walk, sit and stand
• Must be able to turn, crouch, kneel, stoop, bend below waist and reach above shoulder height
• Must use good body mechanics
• Must be able to type and use a computer
