The role of Advanced Cook at Black Desert Resort is an exciting opportunity for culinary professionals passionate about food preparation and kitchen operations within a high-end hospitality environment. This position involves preparing and cooking a diverse array of dishes with precision and care, adhering to recipes and plating standards that reflect our resort's commitment to quality. Reporting to the Sous Chef or Executive Chef, the Advanced Cook plays a pivotal role in supporting food service during fine dining, banquet events, and exclusive private dining experiences. Responsibilities extend beyond cooking to include assisting with station setup, managing ingredient preparation, and ensuring proper food safety and sanitation practices are followed. This role requires working efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen, maintaining food consistency, presentation, and quality at all times.
This is a part-time, year-round position located onsite at Black Desert Resort, with a competitive pay rate of $20 to $22 per hour.                 - Minimum of 3 years of culinary experience in a fine dining, resort, or high-volume kitchen
 - Strong understanding of cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and kitchen operations

 - Strong teamwork and communication skills
