Strong communication skills in English are necessary, alongside the ability to read, write, and understand written instructions and verbal communications effectively. The candidate will be expected to adhere rigorously to all company policies, including attendance and conduct regulations as detailed in the Employee Handbook.
Key duties include receiving and logging guests, assisting visitors with directions, handling telephone communications by taking messages and forwarding requests appropriately, and announcing appointments and arrivals. Additionally, the Concierge contributes to administrative tasks such as typing memos and reports, sorting and distributing mail, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby areas. The individual will also support emergency preparedness protocols by participating in drills and responding promptly during emergency situations, including assisting with resident evacuation if necessary.
A vital aspect of the role is maintaining strict confidentiality concerning all resident information, ensuring compliance with health privacy regulations and protecting residents' rights. The Concierge must also be knowledgeable about community services and assist families and prospective residents by providing tours and information packets.
