Working a scheduled shift on Saturdays from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm, this role plays a critical part in ensuring the main console is consistently staffed, calls are answered promptly, and visitors and residents receive courteous and professional assistance. The Receptionist is also the first line of response to emergency situations, requiring excellent communication skills, poise, and quick decision-making. Beyond guest and resident interaction, the Receptionist completes various clerical duties that help keep daily operations running smoothly. This role is pivotal in upholding the high standards of service and safety that Era Living is known for. - Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately with residents, families, care-team members, staff, volunteers and visitors
- ability to handle multiple duties simultaneously
- experience using computers including Microsoft Office Suite - Outlook, Word, Excel, Internet Explorer
- data entry and accuracy skills
- ability to read, write and communicate in English
- ability to pass DSHS background check, required
- 6 months of reception experience, preferred
- current certification or willingness to obtain certification in First Aid and CPR
