The company is currently seeking a part-time Receptionist to join its team, working 30 hours per week from Monday to Friday, between 8:30 am and 3:00 pm EST. This role is vital as it serves as the first point of contact for visitors, residents, contractors, and callers interacting with the Management Office. The Receptionist is responsible for managing incoming guests and telephone traffic, alongside performing various light administrative tasks. The position offers a starting pay rate ranging from $22.00 to $24.00 per hour, which is commensurate with experience. The role also includes benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life, long-term disability (LTD) insurance, and participation in a 401(k) plan, all based on hours worked.
The Receptionist must be adept at handling multiple tasks with efficiency and courtesy while maintaining clear and concise communication. Responsibilities include answering phone calls, managing voice messages, assisting visitors and residents, processing maintenance requests, preparing correspondence, and managing document scanning and filing. The role also involves programming key fobs and vestibule phones, posting documents within the community, and supporting communications through robocalls, emails, and text messaging platforms. No supervisory responsibilities are associated with this position, but the individual will interact regularly with LWMC staff, board members, residents, and contractors to ensure smooth office operations. This role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office and other comparable software, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize work effectively.
Physical requirements include frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, and occasional lifting of items up to 25 pounds. - High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
