This position is for a Receptionist role at Cascade PBS, offering a full-time schedule Monday through Friday from 11 am to 5 pm with a competitive hourly wage ranging from $21.96 to $22.50. The Receptionist will act as the primary point of contact for visitors and callers, providing outstanding customer service in a professional, courteous, and friendly manner. The Receptionist is responsible for managing the lobby area, handling multi-line phone systems, directing visitors, coordinating courier deliveries, and maintaining confidentiality with sensitive information. The role involves coordinating with multiple departments such as Programming, Customer Service, Engineering, and Accounting to ensure inquiries and requests are accurately routed. The Receptionist also manages logistical duties including the organization of mail, inventory of office supplies, and updating Cascade PBS’s internal intranet and phone lists.
In addition, this role supports team collaboration by working closely with other receptionists on parking inquiries, training supplemental staff, and participating in special event staffing. Physical responsibilities include lifting up to 55 pounds, managing office equipment, and frequent tasks that involve standing, bending, and typing for extended periods. The position requires excellent interpersonal skills, a commitment to diversity, proficiency in MS Outlook and related software, and the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One year of receptionist and/or customer service experience required
- One year of experience with multi-line telephone system strongly preferred
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds unassisted

- Ability to view data on a computer screen for extended periods
- Ability to work some evenings, weekends, holidays and on-call shifts as needed
