The Full-Time Front Desk Receptionist role at Seven Counties Services is pivotal in maintaining smooth and efficient daily operations. This position is responsible for handling essential administrative duties that involve direct interaction with clients, visitors, and staff members. The receptionist welcomes clients and visitors warmly, manages a multi-line switchboard, and directs calls to appropriate personnel or voicemail. The role involves verifying client demographic information, managing payments, scheduling appointments, and documenting client data accurately into electronic information systems. Beyond routine tasks, this position also requires handling difficult customer service situations diplomatically either face-to-face or over the phone.
In addition to front-desk activities, the receptionist manages mail sorting and delivery, fax operations, and assists clients with intake forms. The job requires entering various data types such as clinical assessment summaries, eligibility information, event changes, and grant details into specialized databases. Physical demands of the position are minimal but include occasional lifting of items up to 10 pounds and some walking, standing, stooping, or bending as needed.
