The General Manager role at Smoothie King is a key leadership position responsible for driving operational excellence and delivering the iconic Smoothie King Experience. As the ultimate ambassador of the brand, the General Manager oversees the whole store operation, focusing on building a dynamic, collaborative team culture while meeting sales and operational goals. This role is instrumental in workforce management, learning and development, operational oversight, sales growth, inventory management, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities include recruiting, onboarding, and scheduling team members who are aligned with Smoothie King's mission and values. The General Manager plans shift coverage to balance team and guest needs, delegates operational tasks, and ensures compliance with food safety and brand standards. This role involves using various operational tools such as P&L statements, scheduling software, and inventory management systems to ensure smooth and efficient store functioning.
Leadership development is a vital part of the role, where the General Manager identifies skill gaps, manages training programs, and supports career progression within the team through mentorship and internal mobility. Sales strategies are tailored locally with marketing initiatives and community engagement efforts to boost store performance. - High school diploma
