As a Busser/Runner, you will be the first point of contact for guests entering the restaurant, greeting each customer with a warm smile that sets the tone for their dining experience. The position involves preparing the station before the shift begins, ensuring that tables are properly set with cutlery and condiments, replenishing drinks, and promptly clearing used plates and glassware. This role also entails delivering hot food to customers as soon as it is ready and assisting servers with customer needs when necessary. You will be responsible for adhering to all food safety and hygiene protocols to maintain a clean and healthy environment. Maintaining the dining area’s tidiness by resetting tables, cleaning seats and floors, and managing dish separation in the dishwashing area will also fall under your duties. This job requires physical endurance, including the ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 30 pounds. An attentive eye for detail, teamwork skills, and the ability to multitask efficiently are crucial for excelling in this fast-paced role.
