The Ramp Team Leader role at Unifi is a critical position responsible for managing and overseeing all ramp service activities at the airport. This leadership position involves directing a team in safely marshalling aircraft in and out of gates, loading and unloading baggage, and ensuring that all ground service operations run smoothly and efficiently. The Ramp Team Leader is also tasked with maintaining safety standards through inspections and hazard checks, operating specialized ramp equipment including stairs, bridges, and tow tractors, and implementing de-icing procedures when required. Additionally, this role encompasses some cabin service duties such as cleaning aircraft lavatories, restocking supplies, and ensuring the overall readiness of the aircraft for its next flight. The Ramp Team Leader is expected to uphold Unifi’s stringent safety policies and promote a respectful working environment free from harassment and discrimination. • High school diploma, GED or equivalent education
• must be at least 18 years of age
• must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements
• possess a valid driver’s license
• able to frequently lift greater than 70lbs and constantly lift up to 70 lbs
• constantly push, pull up to 70 lbs
• constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend
• able to work rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime
• able and open to work in outside weather conditions including severe seasonal elements
