As a Ramp Services Agent at WFS, you will play an essential role in ensuring the smooth and safe handling of aircraft operations at Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). This part-time role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and safety of ground operations, encompassing responsibilities such as loading and unloading cargo and baggage, marshalling aircraft, and providing water servicing. Employees in this position are expected to work with great attention to safety, detail, and teamwork, operating various ground support equipment including belt loaders, tugs, and baggage carts. The job requires flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, while adhering strictly to security standards and airport regulations. The position is union-covered under the Transport Workers Union (TWU), involving union membership and dues.   • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • ability to lift and handle heavy baggage and cargo (up to 50 lbs or more)
  • valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a commercial driver’s license (CDL) if required
  • strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and flight crews
  • ability to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and rain
  • flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights
  • basic mechanical aptitude for operating ground support equipment
  • ability to pass background checks and comply with airport security regulations
  • attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols
  • previous experience in aviation or a similar field is preferred but not mandatory
  • fluently read, write, and speak the English language
