This full-time position offers a starting wage of $22.24 per hour, which can increase to $25.24 per hour with reliability pay. Reliability pay provides an additional $3 per hour for team members who maintain a perfect attendance record, work their entire scheduled shifts, and remain active on payroll during each pay period. As a Ramp Agent, you will work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment, crucial to ensuring that passenger baggage and cargo are managed with exceptional care and precision. Your responsibilities will span from safely loading and unloading baggage to guiding aircraft at the gate. The job demands physical agility, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety practices. You will engage with state-of-the-art equipment including baggage scanners and ground vehicles like tugs and belt loaders. This role also requires passing a physical capabilities test, ensuring all candidates can meet the demands of the job such as lifting heavy luggage up to 75 pounds regularly and performing various physical movements like bending and squatting. You must be at least 18 years old, legally authorized to work in the U.S., and able to obtain and maintain airport security clearances. The position is part of a collective bargaining agreement, meaning work schedules are awarded based on seniority, with initial shifts assigned based on operational needs. - A valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test

- Ability to obtain & maintain an airport SIDA badge, US Customs seal, and USPS security clearance
- Ability to work any shift, including early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays

- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, reach and grasp
- Ability to maintain reliable attendance
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to get along with others
- Understanding and ability to utilize electronic tools to interpret flight schedules and airline flight destination information
- Performing basic mathematical functions (e.g., counting bags, verifying cargo weights)
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
