This role is an entry-level Ramp Agent position based at Tampa International Airport, offering an hourly pay rate starting at $16.00, with structured pay increases at 180 days, 360 days, and 2 years, plus additional performance bonuses. Employees receive flight benefits, paid training, and uniforms are provided. The role requires handling and moving cargo and baggage on and off aircraft, transporting them between various airport locations, and operating motorized equipment. Candidates must be physically capable of lifting up to 70 pounds continuously and work comfortably in outdoor conditions, including all weather types. A strong commitment to safety, security, and workplace compliance is essential, as is the ability to follow detailed instructions related to aircraft loading and hazardous materials. • must be at least 18 years of age
• must have high school diploma, GED or six months prior ramp agent work experience
• must be able to pass all pre-employment testing, including a drug test
• capable of safely lifting up to 70 lbs continuously
• must be able to proficiently speak, read, and write in English proficiently
• must have a current driver's license with no violations over the past 5 years
• must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including overtime, weekends and holidays
• work is done primarily outdoors and must be comfortable working in all weather conditions
• must be able to obtain and maintain all required airports and custom badges/seals
