As a Room Attendant within Distinctive Hospitality Group, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms to enhance the overall guest experience. This position requires dedication to detail, efficient work habits, and a friendly disposition. Hourly compensation for this role is $18, reflecting the importance the company places on rewarding staff for their contributions. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that each guest room is meticulously cleaned and perfectly prepared for new arrivals. This includes making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and vacuuming to meet established standards of hygiene and comfort.
In addition to routine cleaning, you will be responsible for changing linens and replenishing towels and guest amenities as needed. The role also involves performing deep cleaning tasks on an as-needed basis, supporting the overall upkeep of the hotel’s facilities. You will be expected to maintain and transport the housekeeping supply cart daily, ensuring it is stocked with all necessary materials to complete your duties efficiently. A critical part of your job is also to dispose of trash and recyclables correctly, supporting the property’s environmental responsibility initiatives.
Responding promptly and courteously to special guest requests is another vital aspect of this role, as it directly contributes to guest satisfaction and positive reviews. - Minimum of 6 months experience in housekeeping or as a room attendant in a hotel environment
