The Property Attendant is responsible for performing a variety of tasks including general preventative maintenance, cleaning public areas, prepping rooms for housekeeping, and assisting with laundry duties. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $16.00 to $18.00, depending on experience. In this role, the Property Attendant manages work orders promptly and follows a preventative maintenance schedule to ensure the property remains in excellent condition. Duties span from floor care like shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surfaces, to minor electrical and plumbing repairs such as changing outlets, plunging toilets, and unclogging sinks. The position also involves janitorial responsibilities in public spaces, parking lot upkeep, trash cleanup, drywall repair, painting, caulking, and PTAC cleaning. Inventory management of maintenance supplies and tools is crucial, requiring coordination with management to maintain adequate stock levels. Additionally, the Property Attendant supports housekeeping teams by preparing rooms, removing linens, and identifying maintenance needs for timely resolution. Safety is a central focus of the job, including adherence to property emergency procedures and ensuring the security of the hotel and guests. The role is physically demanding, requiring repetitive climbing of stairs and ladders, ability to kneel, squat, bend, twist, and lift up to 50 pounds.
