The role of the Production Leader at McMarro is pivotal to maintaining the quality and efficiency of the kitchen operations. This full-time position involves overseeing the production area within the restaurant, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring that all food is prepared to McMarro's exacting standards for taste, safety, and presentation. Reporting directly to the General Manager and Assistant Manager, the Production Leader collaborates closely with Shift Leaders to optimize service times and uphold the company’s philosophy of delivering excellence through teamwork and consistent processes. A Production Leader acts as a role model and fosters a culture of respect and inclusion among kitchen employees. This leadership role demands active management of team morale, coaching, and conflict resolution, as well as adherence to safety protocols and cleanliness standards. The position requires a proactive approach to identifying and addressing operational risks, managing inventory and equipment functionality, and supporting the implementation of business strategies aimed at improving overall restaurant performance. Additionally, the Production Leader is responsible for administrative tasks related to kitchen operations, including compliance monitoring and staff scheduling.
