The role of Porter in the multifamily division at Cushman & Wakefield is essential to maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appeal of residential properties managed by the firm. This position is responsible for cleaning vacant units before marketing and occupancy, servicing property common areas, office spaces, model units, and exterior grounds of multifamily complexes. Reporting to the Resident Manager and Property Manager, the Porter works closely with maintenance staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and property upkeep. This role requires a customer-service oriented individual who can address resident concerns professionally while adhering to safety guidelines. The position involves operating various cleaning equipment and maintaining inventory control while supporting efficient property operations. The work environment encompasses a mix of office settings and outdoor property areas with duties performed in varying weather conditions. Physical demands of the job include standing or walking for extended periods, lifting or moving objects up to 25 pounds, and maneuvering stairs and ladders when necessary. The compensation for this role ranges from $17.00 to $20.00 per hour, reflecting factors like experience, job location, and compliance with minimum wage laws.
