The Porter is primarily responsible for cleaning vacant units and common areas, helping prepare units for marketing and occupancy. This position reports directly to the Resident Manager and Property Manager, working closely alongside maintenance staff to ensure timely and effective property upkeep. The role involves daily cleaning of the office, restrooms, laundry rooms, model apartments, and exterior spaces such as driveways, parking lots, curbs, and dumpster areas. By maintaining these areas, the Porter contributes directly to the property's curb appeal and overall tenant satisfaction. Beyond cleaning duties, the Porter plays a vital customer service role by addressing residents' concerns and maintenance needs in a courteous and professional manner. This requires the Porter to promptly report any maintenance issues to supervisors to ensure quick resolution. Additionally, the Porter assists with inventory control and is expected to perform all work in accordance with established safety policies and procedures. The position demands physical endurance, including the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, navigate stairs and ladders, and lift or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
