Currently, the Club is seeking a dedicated and talented Line Cook to join their elite culinary team. This role is uniquely suited for individuals passionate about culinary arts who thrive in upscale and dynamic environments. Working as a Line Cook at Colleton River Club means engaging daily in innovative and creative culinary preparation, consistently delivering exceptional food quality and presentation to members and guests. This position requires effective collaboration with Executive and Sous Chefs, meticulous attention to sanitation, and the ability to manage both hot and cold food stations, including banquet and event setups.
The ideal candidate will possess a positive, team-oriented attitude along with a strong sense of responsibility and reliability. Emphasis is placed on safety practices, food handling, and cross-contamination prevention to ensure a superior member dining experience. The work environment is both physically demanding and rewarding, often involving lifting, standing, and functioning in a heat-sensitive kitchen setting. The salary range for this position is between $19.00 and $22.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. The schedule includes varied shifts across weekdays, weekends, mornings, and evenings, ensuring a balance of work-life priorities.                 - High school diploma or equivalency
 - 1-3 years verifiable basic food production experience
 - experience working at a hotel, club or resort preferred
 - ability to follow instructions
 - understanding of professional kitchen principles and sanitation standards
 - basic knowledge of hot, cold and dessert food preparation
 - positive attitude and team spirit
 - physical ability to frequently bend, stoop, pull, lift up to 50 pounds
 - capacity to stand and walk continuously
 - tolerance for heat in kitchen environment
 - ready to work in approved uniform and maintain good hygiene
