The Porter position at the Met Opera Grand Tier in New York, New York, is a full-time role paying $20.65 per hour. This role is vital to the smooth operation of front and back of house restaurant supplies, where the Porter will be responsible for receiving, maintaining, and storing these items efficiently. The position requires careful monitoring of deliveries and the inspection of all products to confirm quality, temperature, and condition standards are met. Managing inventory by maintaining accurate receiving logs, ensuring proper rotation of food and beverage products, and reporting faulty deliveries are crucial components of this role.
