The Porter role at Gerber Collision & Glass is a vital supporting position within the collision repair process, focused on maintaining vehicle cleanliness and facility orderliness to complement quality repairs. This hourly role offers compensation ranging from $14 to $19 and requires a mix of physical capabilities, attention to detail, and reliable customer service skills. Porters are responsible for cleaning customer vehicles before and after repairs, managing daily housekeeping tasks around the office and shop, and ensuring the parking areas and grounds are kept neat and safe. They also handle the transport of vehicles to sublet locations when repairs are outsourced. This role is critical to enhancing the customer experience by ensuring vehicles are presented in optimal condition for delivery.
