The Porter is responsible for daily housekeeping tasks that contribute to both the safety and aesthetics of the working environment, including emptying garbage, sweeping, dusting, removing waste materials, and organizing tools and equipment. Additionally, the Porter may be required to maintain parking lots and grounds, including shoveling sidewalks during winter, helping maintain an inviting and safe facility. This position directly supports the repair process by pre-washing vehicles before repairs commence and performing thorough interior and exterior cleanups after repairs conclude. The transportation of customer vehicles to sublet locations for further repairs is also a key responsibility, requiring a valid driver’s license and safe driving skills. Ideal candidates are those who can multitask efficiently, maintain strong attention to detail, and demonstrate a positive, customer-focused attitude. While automotive experience is preferred, the company values willingness to learn and reliability equally.
