About the Day Porter Role: UG2 is seeking a dedicated Day Porter to join their team. This position involves providing touch-up cleaning in high visibility and high traffic areas, ensuring spaces remain attractive, safe, and spotless throughout the workday. The Day Porter will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of building lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and exterior grounds. Typical duties include sweeping, trash removal, spot cleaning door glass and walls, restocking restroom supplies, and performing additional maintenance tasks as assigned by facility managers. The role requires flexibility, including the availability to work weekends and holidays, totaling approximately 31 hours per week. The shift for this position is the first shift. Compensation for this role is set at $15.50 per hour. This position is ideal for individuals who have prior customer service or facility services experience, who take pride in their attention to detail, and who thrive in roles that require physical activity such as lifting, walking, and bending. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential to engaging successfully with leaders, stakeholders, customers, visitors, and clients. The successful candidate will contribute to the positive environment by ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of all assigned areas, supporting special functions by setting up furniture, handling trash processing tasks like shredding or bailing, and performing light landscaping or snow removal duties when necessary. • Six months or more of related customer service and or facility services related experience
• floor care experience is a plus
