The Multi-Site Porter Floater-Daytime position, located in Manhattan, offers a competitive pay rate of $22.33 per hour. This role is pivotal in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of various properties managed by Planned Companies. The porter serves a critical function by providing janitorial services across multiple sites, ensuring that all common areas, restrooms, and workspaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Working in this role requires a detail-oriented and friendly individual who understands the importance of cleanliness in promoting health and safety for every occupant and visitor. As a Multi-Site Porter Floater, you will be responsible for a range of cleaning tasks including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, stripping, buffing, and waxing floors of various types. Additionally, your duties extend to dusting ceilings, light fixtures, countertops, and furniture, as well as scrubbing and sanitizing bathrooms and kitchen fixtures. You will be expected to empty trash, wash and dry windows, and assist in managing supply inventories and reporting any maintenance or repair needs to ensure smooth operation of cleaning activities. This position demands physical stamina, as it requires standing for prolonged periods and the ability to lift weights of 50 pounds or more. You will work both independently and as part of a team, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions thoroughly while being proactive in identifying areas for additional service. Your contributions will directly impact the satisfaction of tenants and guests by creating an inviting, sanitary environment that promotes well-being and safety within managed properties.
