This full-time Cook position is located at the Ochsner St. Martin Hospital in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. The role offers a fixed pay rate of $13.00 per hour and a schedule that includes two possible shifts: 5:00 am to 1:30 pm or 10:00 am to 6:30 pm, working five days a week with every other weekend off. This position requires cooking experience and involves preparing high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and procedures in alignment with federal, state, and corporate regulations. The Cook plays an essential role in ensuring that food is prepared safely, served at correct temperatures, and presented attractively, meeting the highest standards of taste and quality. They are also responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, following HACCP safety standards, and collaborating with coworkers and supervisors to maintain a productive and safe working environment.
