The Cashier role at PENN Entertainment is an essential component of the casino operations, focused on delivering excellent customer service within the Red Carpet Customer Service Program. This position involves processing various monetary transactions, including cashing TITO tickets, personal and traveler’s checks, exchanging currency, and managing cash advances. Maintaining compliance with Title 31 regulations is paramount, ensuring all transactions are conducted lawfully and accurately. The role also requires enrolling patrons into the Players Club and accurately managing their tracking information, supporting marketing efforts with casino promotions and providing a seamless experience for customers. Attention to detail is critical, as cash drawers must be balanced correctly, and all paperwork such as balance sheets, buy sheets, and regulatory reports must be completed meticulously.
This position demands physical capabilities such as standing for extended periods, handling objects, and working in a noisy environment. Interactions with both internal colleagues and external guests should consistently reflect the friendly and professional standards set by the company. The job requires individuals to follow instructions promptly and accurately and to maintain a clean, safe work environment free from hazards. The starting hourly wage is $15.00, with initial salary placement based on relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. - ability to read and communicate verbally in English
- written communication skills in English may also be required
- ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

- ability to obtain and hold a MS gaming license
