The role being described is a Line Cook position, integral to our kitchen operations. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking food items for their assigned line station in accordance with company recipes and specifications. This role requires someone capable of reading and understanding recipes and POS-generated tickets, cutting and preparing foods precisely, and managing allergen considerations to ensure guest safety. The Line Cook will prepare meats, vegetables, batters, sauces, and dressings, as well as bake or cook food items to order. Maintaining a clean and sanitized station throughout the shift is paramount to success in this role. This position requires effective communication with other kitchen staff and supervisors to report shortages and ensure smooth transition between meal periods. Dependability, punctuality, and adherence to scheduling policies are essential, as is the ability to work under pressure in a noisy and fast-moving environment. The candidate must have relevant cooking experience, preferably in a hospitality or restaurant setting, and possess a positive and energetic attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to teamwork and customer satisfaction.
