The available full-time position at LSG Sky Chefs offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment focused on quality food preparation and sanitation. The shift for this role is from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, including weekends and holidays. Employees cannot use public transportation to reach the facility, which is conveniently located outside of the airport area. This role primarily involves cleaning responsibilities within the production areas to ensure a sanitary and safe workspace for both employees and the products being prepared. Employees will spend approximately 70% of their time washing airline and retail dishes, trays, and carts using industrial dish machines, along with sweeping and cleaning work areas, floors, walls, and equipment. Trash removal within the facility is also an essential part of the job. Safety and adaptability are crucial, as employees must be able to work around moving machinery parts, wet floors, and in varying temperature conditions that may include extreme heat or cold. Physical stamina is essential since the position requires standing, walking, bending, and stooping for the entire shift, with the ability to lift up to 30 pounds or push up to 70 pounds. Flexibility to work within a 24/7 operational environment is necessary, with shifts that may change, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
