The role of the PCC Event Assistant is designed to support the dynamic and educational environment of PCC Cooking Classes by providing exceptional customer service to attendees and assisting Chef Instructors with the preparation, classroom set up, and clean up activities. This position is pivotal in ensuring cooking classes and associated events run smoothly and efficiently, thereby enhancing the overall customer experience. In addition to the fundamental duties related to culinary education events, PCC Event Assistants are also responsible for supporting various in-store and offsite PCC events. These could include community engagement activities, promotional events, or member functions where the assistant’s role will be to help with setup, execution, and breakdown following established protocols. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $21.16 to $21.66 per hour and requires a flexible schedule, including the ability to work nights and weekends. The position demands a combination of excellent customer service skills, an ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team, organizational capabilities, and physical stamina to meet the job's demands, such as standing, bending, and lifting regularly. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high attention to detail and consistently adhere to all sanitation and safety standards, ensuring the cooking area and equipment are maintained in pristine condition. • Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position including standing, bending, twisting, repetitive motion, and lifting 10 to 30 lbs on a regular basis
