This role as a Pastry Cook within the Ocean House Collection is vital in maintaining the high culinary standards associated with these luxury properties. Reporting directly to the Sous Chef, the Pastry Cook is responsible for consistently delivering exquisite baked goods, including breads, rolls, cookies, cakes, pies, and pastries prepared precisely according to recipes. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with the Pastry Chef to innovate new recipes that complement the seasonal menu changes, displaying creativity and precision in an environment mindful of upholding Forbes 5-Star standards. As an hourly position, flexibility is essential as the hospitality operation functions 24/7 throughout the year, demanding extended shifts and weekend work, especially during the busy Memorial Day through Columbus Day season.
