The role available is for a Pastry Cook who will become an integral part of the culinary team. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about customer service and eager to develop their skills in the dynamic hospitality industry. The Pastry Cook will be responsible for creating, preparing, producing, and baking a wide variety of pastries, breads, rolls, and desserts to enhance the offerings across the hotel’s food and beverage outlets. Working in a high-volume, hotel setting requires a strong knowledge of pastry techniques including dough and batter preparation, cake finishing, and proficient piping skills. Candidates should have experience with baking times and commercial pastry equipment to consistently deliver products that meet the Hilton’s high-quality standards.
This position demands a flexible schedule, including early morning shifts starting as early as 5 a.m., weekends, and holidays. Pay ranges from $22.63 to $28.29 per hour, reflecting the specialized skills and experience required for this role. The Pastry Cook will ensure that all food handling and storage comply with federal, state, and local regulations, contributing to the hotel’s commitment to safety and sanitation. Aside from daily preparation tasks, the role includes developing new products for a la carte and catering menus and maintaining stock and refrigeration of supplies.

                - Minimum of 1 year experience in pastry production in a high-volume environment preferably a hotel setting
 - knowledge and experience in various pastry techniques including dough, batter, cakes, cake and pastry finishing, and strong piping skills
 - knowledge of baking times and commercial pastry equipment
 - positive, team forward attitude
 - ability to work a varied schedule that includes early mornings, weekends and holidays
 - pastry or culinary school experience is a plus
