The Host role at Schulte Companies is an energetic, hands-on position essential to delivering exceptional guest service in our dining environments. As a Host, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating restaurant personnel to ensure quick, courteous service. Your key duties will include managing dining reservations, arranging special services, greeting and escorting guests, providing menus, assisting with guest comfort, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area. Your ability to manage OpenTable reservations, set up property activities, and inspect serving stations will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hospitality that our guests expect. Additionally, you will handle payment collections and end-of-shift receipt totals. This role demands excellent multitasking abilities, effective verbal communication skills, basic mathematical competence for handling transactions, and flexibility to work varying shifts. The ideal candidate is a team player who strives to exceed guest and team expectations consistently and is comfortable using basic equipment like cash registers and calculators.
