This role involves preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages such as coffee, blended coffee drinks, and tea while ensuring customers receive excellent service tailored to their requests. The Barista will be responsible for accurately customizing beverage orders, describing product details effectively, and processing customer payments with precision. In addition to beverages, the Barista serves prepared food items including sandwiches, biscotti, muffins, and bagels, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. The position emphasizes maintaining well-stocked service stations and ensuring cleanliness by sanitizing equipment, utensils, dishes, workspaces, and seating areas consistently throughout the day. Part of the role also involves monitoring the proper functioning of refrigeration and heating equipment by checking temperatures regularly to ensure food and beverage safety. The Barista may also assist in inventory management, ordering, receiving supplies, and retail products as directed. As an integral team member, the Barista must work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multi-task efficiently, and communicate clearly with both customers and colleagues.
