The role of Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) at BioLife Plasma Services is vital to the successful operation of plasma center activities. Reporting to the Plasma Center Manager, this role supports donor eligibility determination, management of donor adverse events, and review and notification of laboratory test results to donors. The Medical Support Specialist acts under the guidance of the Center Manager and the Center Physician to ensure adherence to operational and medical standards. Additionally, the specialist supports environmental, health, and safety (EHS) efforts at the center, including employee health programs like Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccinations. This full-time, non-exempt, regular employee position based in Aurora, Colorado, offers a competitive hourly wage range of $26.15 to $35.96, reflective of experience, education, certifications, and location. The position requires familiarity with plasma collection regulatory standards and the ability to refer complex medical issues to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs team.   • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program with state requirements
  • Currently licensed or certified in the state where responsibilities will be assigned as EMT-Paramedic
  • Current CPR and AED certification
  • Fulfill state requirements in state of licensure for basic IV therapy
  • Completion of FDA approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist
  • Minimum two years clinical or hospital setting experience
