This paramedic position is a vital role within the company, tasked with providing both basic and advanced life support techniques to patients in emergent and non-emergent situations. The paramedic will respond to a variety of calls, performing comprehensive patient assessments, managing invasive airway procedures, cardiac monitoring, and administering medications as needed. 
In this role, paramedics are expected to execute thorough and accurate documentation of all patient interactions, medical histories, and interventions to maintain compliance and support clinical decisions. They must also act as professional liaisons with other agencies and community members, fostering collaboration and ensuring the appropriate level of care is facilitated at all times. The paramedic's responsibilities extend to maintaining the operational readiness of vehicles and medical equipment through diligent cleaning, decontamination, and routine checks.

The physical demands of this position are significant, including frequent walking, standing, sitting, kneeling, bending, and the ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy weights up to 250 pounds occasionally and 150 pounds frequently. Candidates must also possess the stamina and sensory capabilities to perform job duties effectively in various outdoor conditions.
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or equivalent and possess a current Florida Paramedic Card along with certifications such as AHA CPR, PALS, ACLS, ITLS or PHTLS, and ICS courses. Background clearance, drug screening, and a clean driving record are mandatory prerequisites.

                - Must be able to pass a background investigation

 - Must be able to provide a current negative PPD test results
 - Must have a clean DMV record
 - Must be 18 years of age
 - Must have the following certifications: AHA CPR (Instructor-based with AED), Florida Paramedic Card current, Florida Driver License, AHA PALS, AHA ACLS, ITLS or PHTLS, ICS100.b, ICS200.b, ICS700, ICS800
 - Must have high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
 - Must be able to perform physical tasks such as walking frequently up to 10 hours per day, running infrequently 1-2 minutes per day, standing frequently up to 10 hours per day, sitting frequently up to 8 hours per day, kneeling frequently 10-15 times per day, bending frequently 10-15 times per day
 - Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry 250 lbs infrequently 1-3 times per shift
 - Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry 150 lbs frequently 5-10 times per shift
 - Must have ability to step up and/or climb over obstacles
 - Must be able to climb stairs while carrying up to 150 lbs
 - Must have adequate hearing acuity, vision with corrective lenses if needed
 - Must have adequate hand and finger dexterity and hand and arm strength
 - Must be able to tolerate work in an outdoor environment including heat, cold, rain
