We are currently seeking a Full-Time Emergency Department (ED) Paramedic to join our team at Methodist Northeast. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, compassionate emergency care to patients, ensuring their safety and well-being in urgent situations. As an ED Paramedic, you will be instrumental in supporting our commitment to the patient experience and the hospital’s mission, vision, and values. The position requires maintaining clinical competence, complying with departmental policies, and actively participating in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) projects. This role involves effective communication using the SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation) method to ensure clear and precise information exchange among healthcare providers. Employees in this role will attend required meetings and in-services to stay up-to-date with current practices and protocols.

- Education: current certification/licensure in the State of Texas as a Paramedic
- EMT-P required
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a field Paramedic with an EMS agency and/or clinical hospital experience
- Completion of initial and ongoing training and competencies as defined by service line, facility and department
- Obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of employment start date
- Obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date
- Obtain PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 30 days of employment start date
- No travel required
- Full-time employment
