The position of Guest Service Associate at Towne Park is a vital role responsible for providing top-notch hospitality services to guests in a courteous, friendly, and efficient manner. This role involves managing parking operations, safely parking and retrieving guest vehicles, and assisting guests with bell services including luggage handling during arrivals and departures when applicable. The Overnight Shift position requires working 16-32 hours per week, with a pay rate of $12.00 per hour plus a $4.00 shift differential for overnight shifts. The Guest Service Associate is expected to maintain a professional demeanor and engage warmly with guests by greeting them appropriately using last names and salutation of the day. They must demonstrate excellent communication skills by responding to guest inquiries about directions, reservations, local amenities, and attractions.
Additionally, the associate is responsible for accurate handling of parking claim checks and vehicle keys, ensuring all ticket information is recorded correctly, including damage surveys and key tags. The role demands attention to detail, responsibility for revenue collection when required, and adherence to safety standards while driving and assisting guests. Physical requirements for the job include the ability to lift heavy weights, stand or sit for long periods, and work in various weather conditions primarily outdoors. - High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent education
- Knowledge of customer and personal services principles
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to understand and follow simple instructions and correspondence
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information to guests, clients and employees
- Ability to perform basic math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Understanding of 24-hour and military time
- Understanding of rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission highly desirable

- Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently
- Capable of standing, sitting, walking, running, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Availability to work overnight shifts
- Ability to travel up to 5 percent when required
