The role of Outlet Busser (Server Assistant) at Watermark BR is an essential part-time position that directly supports the restaurant's team of servers and bartenders. Reporting to both the Restaurant Manager and Food & Beverage Director, the Outlet Busser plays a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and service quality within the hotel’s dining areas. This position requires a proactive attitude toward assisting the serving staff by performing a variety of tasks, including replenishing bread baskets, filling water glasses, clearing plates, and ensuring that all table settings are pristine and properly arranged with clean china, glassware, silverware, and linens. In addition to these responsibilities, the Outlet Busser helps manage non-alcoholic beverage service, offers coffee and tea, and maintains extensive knowledge of the menu to confidently answer guest inquiries. This role is vital for ensuring food is served promptly and that guests have an exceptional dining experience. The Outlet Busser also plays a significant part in upholding sanitation standards and annual compliance checks through the meticulous cleaning and resetting of tables and work areas according to established guidelines. Completion of opening and closing duties and assistance with maintaining an organized environment throughout meal periods are key components of this position.
