We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Housekeepers for the 2026 season. This temporary, yet highly rewarding, position requires individuals willing to work onboard for a period of 28 weeks. As a Housekeeper with American Cruise Lines, you will be an essential member of the shipboard hotel team responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting environment for our guests. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that every guest enjoys a top-notch hospitality experience, feeling welcomed and comfortable throughout their journey. The Housekeeper role is ideal for individuals looking to gain valuable hospitality experience while traveling the country aboard luxurious vessels. You will be responsible for the daily upkeep of staterooms, public spaces, and various facilities on the ship, following the high service standards set by American Cruise Lines. This includes a range of cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, dusting, and organizing inventory and supplies. Furthermore, you will engage with guests personally, acknowledging them by name and responding promptly to their housekeeping requests to ensure an exceptional guest experience. In addition to routine housekeeping duties, Housekeepers may take part in special onboard events like greeting guests upon embarkation, assisting with afternoon tea and snacks, and participating in evening cocktail parties. This role offers more than just cleaning responsibilities; it is an opportunity to build genuine relationships with guests and fellow crew members, fostering a community spirit.
