This role is vital to the smooth operation and success of KONG's international customer order processing and shipment management. The position involves managing the entire lifecycle of international orders, from receipt to shipment, ensuring impeccable organization, customer service, and support. The individual will work closely with the International Operations Manager, sales team, warehouse personnel, and freight forwarders to coordinate documentation, transportation, and seamless communication with international customers. This ensures that all international customer objectives are met efficiently and effectively.
A key responsibility includes handling specialized KONG accounts with a dedication that aligns with the company culture. This role demands a hands-on and proactive approach, maintaining meticulous records throughout the order process and invoicing. Collaborating with sales and marketing teams, the individual will facilitate the shipment of brand materials globally and act as the primary contact for international freight forwarders to coordinate the swift movement of export shipments.
In addition, the role requires interaction with various government entities to comply with export regulations and an understanding of the documentation related to shipping consumable products worldwide. Oversight of shipments to KONG's international locations is a critical aspect, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to regions such as the United Kingdom, Germany, and Australia. This position also involves executing requirements for new international markets, maintaining spreadsheets and reports to track order status and shortages, and ensuring customer pricing is consistent with contracts.
Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating across departments to complete orders and resolve discrepancies. The role includes responsibilities like order entry, electronic data interchange (EDI), invoicing for specialized accounts, and maintaining ongoing communication with off-site warehouses about order status and inventory.
KONG offers a competitive compensation package starting from $33 per hour, complemented by quarterly profit sharing.
