The Operations Support and Compliance Coordinator role at FlightSafety International is a vital position designed to assist the Director of Standards and Program Managers in ensuring regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness at the Learning Center. This position is responsible for the administration and support of CFR 14 Part 61/121/135/142, EASA, other National Aviation Authorities regulations, and FAA Order 8900.1 requirements. The coordinator maintains essential documentation, manages records related to instructor and check airmen training status, and supports internal auditing to ensure adherence to quality standards such as ISO 9001 2000. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse team of aviation professionals. The coordinator is also instrumental in maintaining FlightSafety s commitment to customer satisfaction and operational excellence by ensuring all program training materials and compliance requirements are current and accurate. This position requires some travel and the ability to work cooperatively in a dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks to meet daily, weekly, and monthly operational deadlines. Strong knowledge of FAA, EASA, and other aviation regulatory frameworks is essential to success in this role. - Associate s degree from a two-year college or technical school preferred
- Three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of one year s experience in an aviation related field
- Knowledge of FAR Parts 61, 91, 121, 135, 141, 142, 121 Appendix E and F, FlightSafety Operations Manual, FAA Order 8900.1
- Fluency in English both verbal and written
- Proficiency with IBM PC or compatible computer
- Ability to use peripheral computer equipment including modem, ZIP drive, external hard drives
- Experience with office equipment such as fax, copier, and multi-line telephone
- Ability to adhere to work schedule including prompt and regular attendance
- Willingness to travel as required
