The position contributes directly to the overall guest experience by ensuring that all areas are clean, organized, and prepared for various events hosted at the Mobile Convention Center. In this custodial role, you will be responsible for various cleaning tasks including sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, and maintaining the cleanliness of both interior and exterior venue spaces such as terraces, steps, parking garages, sidewalks, and plazas. Additionally, you will assist with the set-up and tear-down of equipment and furniture in preparation for events, reflecting the company’s commitment to seamless event execution. • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• previous custodial or cleaning experience a plus
• must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
• must be physically capable of performing duties including lifting and moving equipment
• must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
• must be able to operate cleaning and other venue equipment after training
• ability to work safely in team-oriented and fast-paced environment
